The 27 Amendments
1. The right to petition, assembly, speech, protest, and religion " Sue went to protest at the city hall due to the bad law."
2. The right to bear arms " Austin was allowed to keep his pistol in his possession."
3. No quartering of troops " Matt denied the troops the right to enter and stay at his home."
4. No unreasonable searches without a warrant " John asked the officer he must get a warrant before he can search his car."
5. Double Jeopardy, can't be charged for a crime twice after being innocent the first time tried " Joey was found innocent, then taken to trial again for the same crime which was illegal"
6. Right to a jury in a criminal case " Chris wanted a jury for his murder trial"
7. Right to a jury in a civil case " Tamerik wanted a trial in his house payment trial"
8. No cruel or unusual punishments " Heather was getting beat and tortured for her problems"
9. Enumerated Rights " John was able to maintain his rights not listed in the Constitution"
10. Federalism, states the government only gets the power from who the people through the constitution give it " The Government gets their power from the people"
11. States immune from certain laws, Sovereign Immunity " Missouri doesn't have to abide by Arkansas' Laws"
12. Revises presidential election process " Barack Obama had his election process all setup for him"
13. Abolishes Slavery " Donovan was able to be set free"
14. U.S. Citizenship granted regardless of race, sex, etc. " Julio was able to get citizenship though he was from a mexican heritage"
15. Voting Rights given to all people regardless of race, sex, etc. Johnny was able to vote for the president though he was of African decent"
16. Permits Congress to levy Income Taxes " Congress couldn't increase income taxes because more money was needed"
17. Established US Senators by popular vote " US Senator Billy Long was voted in by popular vote"
18. Prohibition of Alcohol " Alcohol was made illegal"
19. Women's Suffrage " Mary did not have the right to vote because she was a woman"
20. Changes the date in which President and elected officials change office " The president was going to be sworn in on January 20th"
21. Repeals Prohibition " Made alcohol legal"
22. Determines Terms and sets guidelines for elected officials " Obama can only serve for two terms or 8 years"
23. Grants Washington DC 3 Electoral Votes " Even though Washington DC isn't a city, they still get 3 electoral votes"
24. Bans Poll Taxes- " Joseph couldn't be charged for voting on the presidential ballot"
25. Succession of President- " Joe Biden would replace Obama if something were to happen to Obama"
26. Voting Age must be a minimum of 18- "Once Freddy turns 18, he can vote."
27. Congress can't raise their own salaries " The congress of the US can't make their salaries whatever they want"

The process is a very interesting way in which an amendment becomes an amendment. An amendment is created by its proposal of the Congress with a 2/3 majority vote of both the House of Representatives and the Senate or can be brought to front by a constitutional convention called for by 2/3 of the States' Legislatures.
An amendment is ratified by 2/3 of the House of Representatives and the Senate making a proposal and sending it to the states for a vote.
